Brainwashed / Disney / Copic Marker

Hi guys, how are you? I've been kind of busy lately, so please excuse the lack of postings! ^^v

When I started to draw this chibi Ariel I realized what most Disney Princesses have in common - it's highly abusive parents or step parents. I mean they are lovely girls who have to fight so hard for their dreams when they should just be free to do what they want with all the support and love from their parents. Instead they're being locked away and isolated from life like Ariel, Rapunzel, Elsa, Jasmine and many more. I would love to share some more thoughts about this topic with you in the future, because most of the times it's not about the physical harm they do, but about manipulating and breaking their children's minds at a very young age. I really want to help and sharpen our awareness for child abuse!
